Basically a parking lot, but can't beat the access to downtown Louisville just five minutes away. Easy access to/from I-65. Dinner theater and big Camping World just a couple minute's walk. Surprisingly clean restrooms and showers. Very helpful staff are on hand from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily. Guests may use pool facilities at nearby Holiday Inn. Wireless Internet works well. Since we were still winterized, would have been nice to use the "Kamping Kitchen," but it was closed up and out of order.

An overall decent facility run as a tight ship by on-site owners. Mostly long-term rentals, with few sites available for overnighters and no shade or stream sites, even though you'll find those in the description. This can sometimes be a negative at some places, but all sites were kept up, clean, and the place overall was very quiet. Not much for landscaping, but restroom facilities were clean for the most part. Two all-in-one bath/shower rooms were always damp, with mold and mildew. This is because the weak vent fans only worked when the light was on and you were supposed to turn the light out. Can't imagine how bad this gets in summer. Location between busy road and near railroad track and next door to go-cart track could be noisy at times, and was not really near anything of note in Asheville. Next door with easy access to quick mart gas station for supplies. Good SECURE wireless Internet.

Everything about this place was just OK. Even though they just opened for the season, we paid full season price for limited facilities. Bathrooms should not have been in the shape they were for the first week of the season.
